But I already know about my cycles
You could try. In fact isn’t that what you’ve been doing already? But you still have questions, right? The information in these workshop took me years of researching (in the scientific journals, not on google!) plus working with countless clients to understand and troubleshoot their cycles.
You could spend hours (days!) down a google rabbit hole trying to find out this info and half of what you learn will be either out of date, just plain false or not relevant to you. Sure, if there is a window to hit! Not all cycles are ovulatory and having anovulatory cycles (along with other things) can be big red flags that something no quite right. You won’t know you’re actually ovulating unless you become an expert tracker (no, OPKs or period tracker apps aren’t enough!)
Plus, GSD daily can get a lot less fun and sexy months and months into trying. And if you’re trying to get pregnant without a partner or in an LGBTQIA+ that’s just not going to be an option for you anyway.
*Get shit done or GSD is the inclusive term we use for however you’re trying to conceive: eg intercourse, home insemination, IUI etc
Studies show that up to 1 in 3 regular length cycles (in healthy people with regular cycles) are actually anovulatory! And if you’re not ovulating, you can’t get pregnant. You need to understand your cycles and then learn how to properly track them if you want to take control of your fertility.
